Request of 8 IPMCs

Dear Alberto,

I received your order twice, but I guess only one has to be taken into account. Is it right?

Yes, we have some card in stock, I will prepare the package next week. Could anyone pass by the xTCA lab to pick them up?

Additionally, Do you need v4 or v3? Does the third UART is connected on your blade?

Best regards,

Julian

Hello Julian,
Yes, that was my mistake. We only need 8 units for the moment.
V3 is okay for us. Let me know when they are ready and I will send a colleague to pick them up.

By the way, find attached the DNA document fulfilled.
Cheers,
Alberto

Hello Alberto,

Perfect, I’ll send you an email as soon as it is OK (mid of next week).

Concerning the NDA, could you please print it, sign it manually and scan it back? Unfortunately, we need a signature on the document.

Best regards,

Julian

Hello,
find the signed NDA attached.

Thanks,
Alberto

Dear Alberto,

Thank you for sending the signed document. I added you into the ipmc-dev e-group, which give you access to the https://gitlab.cern.ch/ep-ese-be-xtca/ipmc-dev repository.

Best regards,
Julian

Dear Julian,
First of all I would like to know if you can confirm that you have ready the 8 IPMC boards that we requested at the end of July.
We will be at CERN next week and we would like to collect them.

Second, I am trying to access the ipmc-dev git repository but I get an error both on the browser (page does not exist) and with git clone:

git clone https://gitlab.cern.ch/ep-ese-be-xtca/ipmc-dev.git
Cloning into ‘ipmc-dev’…
remote: The project you were looking for could not be found or you don’t have permission to view it.
fatal: repository ‘https://gitlab.cern.ch/ep-ese-be-xtca/ipmc-dev.git/’ not found

Do you know what could be the problem?
Thanks and best regards,
Alberto

Hi Alberto,

Julian is currently on holiday. He will be back next Monday. He will then be able to give you or a colleague of yours the eight IPMCs.

As for the ipmc-dev git repository, I opened a ticket with CERN IT to find out what is going on. Of course, as signer of the NDA you should have access and you did have access in the past.

Cheers,

Ralf.

Hi Ralf,

I have just received an email from CERN GitLab informing that my access to ep-ese-be-xtca group has been granted and now I have access to the repository.

Thank you very much for your help.
Cheers,
Alberto

Hi Alberto,

Very good. After an intervention from CERN-IT, I could finally add you to the ipmc-dev project.

Cheers,

Ralf.
