Dear Ralph,

The Apache 2.0 License is part of the permissive licenses category, and is compatible with the GPLv3, which is of interest to our case.

Some references:

In case you choose to release under Apache 2.0, from the IPMC and SoC code development side it should all work well for us.

Should you wish to have a chat at CERN, I’ll be there from Tuesday 10th to around Friday 20th.
