We have the IPMC Ethernet port routed to a SoC FPGA but this is not yet available so for the moment we don’t have this possibility.
I will be away for holidays three weeks. I will resume this task when I am back and I will investigate the shelf manager configuration as you propose.
I will let you know if I discover anything.
By the way, I tried to access the ipmc-dev git repository and I get a “Page not found” error:
